Review: To begin I loved my professor he is quite literally the most honest professor in this school. His name is Mr.Acosta he is the Applied Cybersecurity teacher and I had the best time in that class I learned a lot from him and not only about cybersecurity but about more in life in general. He is very straightforward with you and he will treat you like an adult, I feel like that’s the best part about him he gives it to you straight. His class could get intense if your not dedicated to wanting to learn but if your motivated then he will know he can see that. The school however I didn’t like at all they don’t treat you like an adult like I am paying for this class with my money… treat me like an adult. I attempted to order food since I didn’t bring any lunch and my brother needed my car the moment it was delivered i grab it and some random women came and took it later i learned she was the assistant principal her name was Dr. Sloan.. I can’t understand why she felt the need to take me food from me but she took it…. she took my mcdonald’s uber eats and said it wasn’t allowed if you know me I am extremely shy and I stood there in disbelief that she just took my food and said I have to pick it up when class was over as if i was a high schooler. I am an adult woman paying for my classes why is this lady taking my food, we are in a college why can I not deliver food. To leave on a good note the front office ladies are the sweetest they were always so kind and understanding with me!!

Review: If you’re on the fence about enrolling to Osceola Technical College’s HVAC program, wait no longer. Just do it.During the pandemic, I saw many of my coworkers being furloughed & fired. It made me realize that I was disposable at my current position.I knew this was the perfect time to work towards a CAREER with great stability & vast opportunities for professional & personal growth. In the span of a year, I was taught by the very knowledgeable, Mr. Talon. This man provided me with all the tools I needed to breakthrough & thrive within the ever competitive HVAC industry.Funny thing, before I graduated here, I ended up landing a job as a technician with the Osceola County School District’s Maintenance Department, which allowed me to service residential & commercial applications in the exact same school where I was currently earning my certificate in the evening. The possibilities are endless in this field & I’m so glad I took a chance on myself. So what’s stopping you ?Start Here. Go Anywhere.- J. Rendón

Review: The Welding program has very high quality equipment but there was no sense of urgency when putting the class together. Students had to sit in a classroom and do virtually nothing as we waited a month for a teacher to be hired. When the teacher did finally get hired the school did not meet the classes needs in certain equipment and took another month to fully set up.

Review: My cousin is learning how to cut hair in their Cosmetology program at the Poinciana campus. I had a great and relaxing time. The student talent there is amazing! I think I may go there for either Cosmetology or Medical Assisting when I finish high school. The teachers there are the best!

Review: DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL!Not only is the staff horrible, they don’t care about their students, they only care about the money they get from you. I took the cyber security course and that was a complete joke. I dropped out and went to Valencia for the program. Teacher is absolutely horrible! He made fun of me, and bullied me. The teacher also would go on rampages about when he was back in the war, go way off topic for hours. He also made comments saying if you complained about him he could “destroy” your life. Also the classes have high schoolers in the class and the teacher kept calling them “babies”. I didn’t learn a thing in that class! I went for 4 months and absolutely hated it! You have to wear a uniform, and the “adult” cafeteria isn’t open so you can either eat in your car or leave campus. I felt like I was back in high school again. Way better off going to Valencia where you are treated so much better, and actually treated like an adult and feel welcomed! Once again don’t go here! It’s a waste of time and money!
